Papa Jojo It is clearly informed by the original but is its own thing. Fans familiar with the R.E.M. version and folks unfamiliar can enjoy it. Favorite track: Near Wild Heaven.

Owen Radford-Lloyd A spellbinding take on one of the 90's highwater records. Dark, dank, and enthralling. I might actually prefer some of these tracks to their originals, which as a huge R.E.M. fan is really saying something. Favorite track: Texarkana.

Michael Heimbaugh Color me impressed! Turns out my 2nd favorite album of all time also works beautifully reimagined as an emo/shoegaze record—who knew? Favorite track: Texarkana.

Steve West I heard "Belong" on KEXP Seattle a few days ago and was captivated by the track. Amazing cover... ethereal sounds especially the vocals. The song/album didn't come up easily in search but I eventually found it and am looking forward to listening to the whole album.

Quivers' unique reverberant and jangly sound goes toe-to-toe with R.E.M.'s original arrangements and lyrics, creating a deep, interwoven collection of tunes that breathe new life into a set of masterpieces. A challenge few would take on, and even fewer would meet. Favorite track: Country Feedback.

pacific rim progressive rock Back in 1989, the Go-Betweens supported R.E.M. on Tour. This sparkling, sun-dappled 2020 Australian cover album of Out of Time sounds like a shiny, happy marriage of the harmonies of the Go-Betweens and the alt rock of R.E.M. Favorite track: Near Wild Heaven.

Originally recorded for Seattle's Turntable Kitchen covers series, this is a second edition TK has kindly let us press ourselves to keep it available. Recorded over 4 days in a rehearsal studio with Matthew Redlich in Naarm/Melbourne/Australia.

Originally released via Turntable Kitchen's Sounds Delicious vinyl series Quivers' recorded a re-imagning of R.E.M.'s Out of Time (1991). We hope you like our re-imagining of the record and we hope Mike Mills doesn't sue us (I had a dream he would, twice).

We have a 2nd Australian edition now on the way in either TRANSLUCENT GREEN or SMOKY PLUM PURPLE.
